We are a new film and media production company in the startup phase. We are seeking a specialist in lean methodologies to help gather and analyze the market data needed to build company strategy.
This is largely a data-centric and analytical job, but with a people-oriented component as well. Tasks include prospecting, list-building, lead generation, small-batch split testing, CRM management, cohort analysis, etc.
Experience with these techniques is obviously a plus, but we are also interested in commited students of the lean approach who would like to move from theory to practice. As long as you can get things done you can pretty much design the job around your own work style and convenience.
Finally, if you could, please answer the five question below in your cover letter or email. These aren't about grilling you on qualifications, but more about getting to know your personality.
By temperament are you more of the inside/back office/lead-gen type, or do you incline more toward outside/front office/biz-dev?
What are your favorite marketing metrics and how do you like to keep track of them?
If you could only use one marketing technique to conquer the world, what would it be?
What's your favorite marketing software, platform, or app?
Who or what is your favorite marketing author, guru, or book?
Thanks for responding!
